Android users will notice an occasional notification saying, Fi is active and monitoring and Fi is active and monitoring DOG'S NAME. This notification is not sent from the Fi App.
This notification is sent from your Android phone and alerts you to a Bluetooth connection that has remained on your phone for an extended period. Here is what the notification looks like:
If you have an Android with an OS of 13 and above, you can swipe to dismiss this notification. If you do not have the option to swipe or would like to turn this notification off, follow the steps below.
Steps to Turn Off Fi Connectivity Notifications
You can turn these notifications off in three ways.
Option 1:
- Long press the notification when it appears, and then click the setting (gear) icon in the upper-right-hand corner:
- This will take you to the exact alert sent by your Android phone, which is Fi Connectivity. On this page, you can toggle this alert off:
Option 2:
- Alternatively, you can turn this notification off by going to your phone Settings and then selecting the Apps Settings Menu:
- Select the Fi App from the list, and then select Notifications:
- Toggle off Fi Connectivity:
Option 3:
- Long press the Fi App icon until a Menu appears. Tap App info:
- Select Notifications:
