All Fi Nanos, and any non-Fi microchip that is registered in our free-for-life database, is searchable on the universal registry petmicrochiplookup.org. When you find a pet with a Fi Nano, you don't even need Fi to get in touch with the owner - simply navigate to our website and send them a message directly and securely.
Each box of Nanos contains 20 individually wrapped microchips that are preloaded into their syringes and tested for sterility.
Inside each individually wrapped microchip package, in addition to the syringe, are 3 stickers with the 15 digit microchip number on it. These are typically put in the pet’s paperwork, sent home with the owner, etc.
Also in the package is a yellow registration card with a QR code. These cards are unique to the chip they come with, and must be given to the adopters so they can register the microchips on their own.
We do not include or sell a scanner, as the chips are universally scannable and any existing scanner should work.
