1 Year Warranty
Every Fi collar has a one-year product warranty from purchase date. If you experience any technical or hardware issues with your Fi collar module or base within one year of purchase, our support team will troubleshoot and, if necessary, replace the collar and/or base without charge.
To start a claim, please reach out to us via our request form for support regarding your pup's Fi collar or base or questions regarding your one-year product warranty.
Please also include the following information in the description section so we can get started on a fix right away:
- Which device is affected - your pup's Fi collar module, base, or both
- A thorough description of the issue you're experiencing, for any hardware claims, pictures are required
- What steps you've taken, if any, in attempts to resolve the issue
- A copy of your original receipt or invoice number
The Fi Warranty is only offered to the original purchaser of the Fi collar and covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, and only applies to purchases from tryfi.com, Chewy and PetSmart.
The Fi Warranty does not cover products that have been resold, lost, misused (chewed), serviced, altered, or damage from wear and tear; any cosmetic damage (such as scratches and dents); or any damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, mishandling, flood, fire, earthquake or other external causes. Fi may refuse any warranty claims from any purchasers or parties who are in breach or violation of any of their obligations, including without limitation payment obligations to Fi.
The 1 Year Warranty is from the original date of purchase. If a product is replaced under warranty, the warranty coverage date remains from the original date of purchase.
Please note, all Series 2 Fi Collars are rigorously tested for 300 lbs of static pull force in our manufacturing facility, and reinforced with an internal end-to-end metal frame.
For dogs with specific behavioral issues, or pullers we recommend using a harness in complement to the Fi Collar for tracking. The Fi Collar should not be used with a tie out. Depending on the impact speed of a shock load (like a squirrel sighting) the energy delivered to the hinge can exceed a 300 lbs static pull.
