With an active membership, the Fi Collar uses AT&T's LTE-M cellular network and acts as its own cellular device.
Prior to purchase, we recommend first checking to ensure there is LTE-M coverage around your home or in any other area where your dog may spend time. Please note:
- Your smartphone can be on any cellular network - it does not need to be on AT&T for the Fi Collar to function.
- A Fi Membership is required to enable a Series 3+ or Series 3 Fi Collar. For Series 2, without a membership, AT&T LTE-M network connectivity and Original Lost Dog Mode are not available. If you did not select a plan during your initial purchase, you can always add a Fi Membership at a later date.
Once you've received your Fi Collar, we recommend testing GPS and LTE-M capabilities by Testing Lost Dog Mode.
