How Do I Add or Remove a Pet Owner?

If your pup has more than one owner, you can add them to the Fi App.

All owners who are added to the account will have full access, including billing. Please ensure you only share this access with those you trust.

Owners have access to other owner's locations, but only when a Fi Collar is paired to an owner's phone. If the Fi App is open and running in the background on an owner's phone, the Fi Collar can connect and share the location with other owners. See: How Can I Improve My Fi App Mobile Connectivity?

If you only want to share limited access to your account, you can instead add someone as a dog walker. See: How Do I Add or Remove a Dog Walker?

Steps to Add an Owner

1. Open the Fi App.

2. Tap your dog's Profile picture in the lower right corner. Once you are in the profile, tap the 3 stacked lines:

4. If the invite page does not automatically open, tap INVITE:
   
5. Enter the additional owner's phone number in the Phone Number field or tap Invite from contacts:
   
   
6. Tap Owner and then tap INVITE:
   
7. You'll see the invite populate on your smart phone, and you can text the owner directly from your phone.
8. The invited owner will receive an SMS text message containing a link from you.
   • If the invited owner hasn't yet downloaded the Fi app - this link will direct them to the Google Play or Apple App Store. They will need to:
     • Download the app.
     • Create an account.
       • Enter the email address desired for their Fi account.
       • Pick a password.
       • Enter their full name. 
       • The invite code will auto populate.
   • If the owner has downloaded the app - this link will open the Fi app on their device.
     • If they have not created an account, they will need to:
       • Create an account.
       • Enter the email address desired for their Fi account.
       • Pick a password.
       • Enter their full name.
       • The invite code will auto populate.
   • If the invited owner already has a Fi account, they will immediately receive access to your pup's profile.

Steps to Remove an Owner

1. Open the Fi App.

2. Tap your dog's Profile picture in the lower right corner. Once you are in the profile, tap the 3 stacked lines:
