This notification is sent if the Fi system could not locate your Fi Collar for more than 30 minutes.
We want to make sure that if your dog escapes a safe zone, even if the area has very poor signal and we cannot get a proper location - we notify you in 30 minutes if we cannot locate your dog's collar.
If you receive a lot of these notifications when your dog is at home, it might mean that the collar is not properly connecting to your Fi charging base.
Make sure to leave your base(s) plugged in, in the area where your dog(s) spends the most time. Base signal can travel across walls and structure, but it depends of the actual material used in your house.
If you have a large home, you might need more than one base to properly cover the entire area. For the best coverage in large, multi-level and/or multi-dog households - we recommend that you have multiple bases plugged in and online to get the best signal coverage.
Also make sure to install the app and invite every owner on the household - the more devices that have the Fi app running in the background, the more likely it is that one of them will "see" the Fi Collar and report to the Fi server that your dog is indeed safe.
