How Do I Add or Remove Wi-Fi Networks?

The Fi Collar can store up to 6 Wi-Fi networks simultaneously. This allows you to accurately track your dog indoors without needing to bring a Fi Base. See: Understanding Fi Collar’s Connection State.

Please note, Series 1 Fi Collars cannot connect to Wi-Fi.

During activation, you automatically configured your dog's collar to connect to the network used at set up, but you can easily manage your networks by adding or removing networks as needed within the Fi App.

Steps to Add a Wi-Fi Network

1. Open the Fi App.

2. Tap your dog's Profile picture in the lower right corner. Once you are in the profile, tap the 3 stacked lines:

   
3. Tap Wi-Fi Networks:
   
   
4. Tap the '+' button in the upper right corner:
   
5. The app will scan for Wi-Fi Networks near you:
   
6. Next, choose your Wi-Fi Network, and enter your Password.
   • Please note, you must be in range of the Wi-Fi Network you want to add with your dog's Fi Collar present. 
7. Set Wi-Fi location, this will also create a safe zone. See: How Do I Setup and Edit a Safe Zone?

Steps to Edit a Wi-Fi Network

1. Open the Fi App.

2. Tap your dog's Profile picture in the lower right corner. Once you are in the profile, tap the 3 stacked lines:

   
3. Tap Wi-Fi Networks:
   
   
4. Tap into the Wi-Fi network you want to edit.
5. You can update the location by moving the Wi-Fi icon over where the Wi-Fi network is located. Tap Save when complete:

Steps to Remove a Wi-Fi Network

1. Open the Fi App.

2. Tap your dog's Profile picture in the lower right corner. Once you are in the profile, tap the 3 stacked lines:

4. For iOS, swipe the Wi-Fi Network you'd like to Delete to the left, and tap Delete:
   
   
   • A confirmation notification will appear, tap Delete:
     
5. For Android, tap Remove and then tap the red circle next to the Wi-Fi Network you'd like to delete:
    
   • A confirmation notification will appear, tap Yes:
