If a collar says “Activation Failed” when you go to set it up, please try it a few more times to make sure the connection is working.
If after a few attempts you are still seeing this error message, please try resetting the collar: Turning Off + Resetting the Fi Module
If you continue to have trouble, it’s possible that the collar is already assigned. Check the “Collars” tab under your main menu on the Fi app and look for the serial number. If you do not see it, please email email@example.com with the serial number, so we can check if it is assigned elsewhere. (The serial number can be found on the back of the module, and starts with FC). Only email this address if you are fostering/adopting a dog from one of our rescue partners.
