If your Fi Collar is online, the Fi App can assist in guiding you to its location. Use the guidance below to help locate the collar based on its current connection source.
Connected to the Fi Base
The collar is nearby, typically within 100 feet of the Fi Base, as the connection is via Bluetooth. Start your search indoors or around the area where your Fi Base is located.
Connected to a Mobile Device
The collar is very close to you, within approximately 100 feet, as it connects via Bluetooth to your phone. Check around your immediate vicinity.
Connected to Wi-Fi
The collar is indoors or near your home, as it can connect to your Wi-Fi network.
Check the area associated with the Wi-Fi location, focusing indoors or near your home.
Connected to GPS or LTE-M
Open the Live Tab in the Fi App to see the most recent GPS location. The displayed location is accurate to within 60 feet, so check the area shown on the map preview.
Additional Tips
- When searching at night or in dark locations, toggle on the collar light to increase visibility.
- Try searching between couch cushions or anywhere your dog likes to relax if the collar was lost after being removed indoors.
- If your dog loves stashing treasures, check their bed or favorite hangout spot—it might just be hiding there!
