How Do I Link or Remove an Instagram Account in the Fi App?

You can connect your Instagram account to your dog's profile to share photos directly from the Fi App to Instagram. See: How Do I Upload a Photo to My Fi App?

Once you have connected your Instagram account to the Fi App, your dog's Instagram handle will be shown in the Fi App, keeping all your dog's fans updated on the action! 

Please note: your handle will also be visible in rankings to other Fi users.

Steps to Link Your Instagram Account to the Fi App

1. Open the Fi App.
2. Tap on your dog's profile in the bottom right-hand corner:
   
3. Tap Connect account:
   • NOTE: If you have multiple IG accounts, ensure you select your dog's profile instead of your personal one. If you accidentally linked it with yours, follow the steps to Steps to Remove Your Instagram Account From the Fi App that are listed below.
     
     
4. Sign in to your account and tap Allow when prompted:
   
   
5. The app will allow you to select a photo, or you can tap the back arrow and post one later! 
6. The accounts are now linked.

Steps to Remove Your Instagram Account From the Fi App

1. Open the Fi App.
2. Tap on your dog's profile in the bottom right-hand corner:
   
3. Tap Edit Profile:
   
   
4. Tap Disconnect:
   
   
5. Your Instagram account is now removed.
