If a dog with a Fi Nano is lost, once they are found and their chip is scanned, Fi provides a secure messaging platform to contact the dog's owner. Personal information is not shared directly.
When searching the AAHA Universal Pet Microchip Lookup Tool, all Fi Nano's will have a direct link to Fi's microchip directory.

Follow These Steps to Message the Registered Owner and/or Vet/Rescue/Breeder:
- Go to nano.tryfi.com. You do not need an account to search a microchip number. Type in the microchip number and click SEARCH:
- If the dog was registered, it will now show the owner's information and the vet/rescue/breeder information:
- Click on SEND MESSAGE if you would like to contact the registered owner:
- Click on CONTACT VET/RESCUE/BREEDER if you would like to contact the registered vet/rescue/breeder:

- Fill out your email, your name and a message about where the pet was found with the microchip number. Click Send Message:
- Note: This will not share the personal information of the owner. It will only show the owner's First Name and the City where the owner is registered. You must email them directly through our site.
