View Current Collar Connection

The Fi Collar uses different connection sources - Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, and LTE-M - to determine and report your dog’s location.

To understand how your dog’s location is being tracked in real time, you can view your collar's current connection source within your app's Live Tab.

Steps to Check What My Dog’s Fi Collar Is Connected To

1. Open the Fi App.
2. Tap the Live Tab in the bottom left-hand corner:
   
   
3. Tap the Live Map Card:  
   
   
4. Tap on your dog's picture shown on the Live Map:
   
   
5. This will display a status card with the following information about your dog's collar:
   1. The connection source that the collar is connected to or was last connected to: either Fi Charging Base, Wi-Fi, Phone or GPS/LTE.
   2. If the collar is online (Live) or offline (you will see a spinning wheel):
      
      
   3. Whether your dog is with an owner or without an owner.
6. Tap on the arrow in the upper left-hand corner to return to the Live Tab page:
