To charge your dog's Fi Collar, you'll need a Fi Base of your correct collar series. The Fi Series 2 Collar cannot charge on a Series 3 Base, and vice versa.
Plug the Fi Base into an electrical source using any standard USB Type-A to micro USB cable to begin.
It typically takes the Fi Collar about 3 hours to charge from 0 to 100%. We'll send a reminder when your collar's battery is at 10% and 5% to recharge so you can always plan ahead!
Series 3
Place your Fi Collar on your plugged-in base. The base's indicator light will turn blue, confirming your collar is docked.
The collar light will also turn on and pulse a blue light to indicate it's charging.
When fully charged, the blue light will stop pulsing on your collar - letting you know it’s ready for your dog’s next adventure!
Please note, the device must sit in the recess on the top of your Fi Base for the collar to charge or activate.
The Fi logo is located on the bottom of the base. Placing the collar on this side will prevent it from docking correctly.
Series 2
When you place the Fi Collar on the charging base, the base's indicator light will turn on to confirm it’s connected. A pulsing blue light signals that the collar is actively charging.
Once the collar is fully charged, the light will show a solid blue - and you're ready to go!
