Replacing your Fi Collar is seamless, whether you're transitioning from a previous series to our latest technology or swapping within Series 3.
Before activating your replacement collar:
- Update your Fi App: Ensure you’re using the latest version for a smooth setup. Click here to learn how to update.
- Confirm your account: Log into the Fi Profile associated with your initial collar purchase. This ensures your membership transfers automatically to your new collar.
Then, simply follow the instructions below that apply to your collar!
Activating a Replacement Collar
Follow these steps to activate your replacement collar and keep your current Dog Profile:
1. Open the Fi App.
2. Unlink your previous Fi Collar using the instructions here.
3. Tap into the Dog Profile in the bottom-right corner of your Fi App associated with your membership.
4. Tap the yellow Activate Collar button.
5. Follow the onscreen prompts to complete activation.
Please note: your Fi Base must be plugged in to activate your collar. For Series 3, the recess of the charging base must be on top to properly connect.

Activating an Upgraded Fi Collar
Follow these steps to activate your upgraded Series 3 Fi Collar and keep your current Dog Profile:
1. Open the Fi App.
2. In the bottom-right corner, tap the Dog Profile your previous Series 2 Collar was associated with. You do not need to create a new dog profile.
3. Tap the blue banner that says Your Series 3 is on the way! Once tapped, your Series 2 Fi Collar will automatically unlink, allowing you to activate your Series 3.
5. Tap Activate:
6. Follow the onscreen prompts to activate your Series 3 Fi Collar & Base.
Please note: your Fi Base must be plugged in to activate your collar. For Series 3, the recess of the charging base must be on top to properly connect.
