Swapping or Activating a Replacement Collar
Follow these steps to activate your replacement collar and keep your current Dog Profile:
1. Open the Fi App. Tap your dog's profile picture in the lower right corner. Once you are in the profile, tap the 3 stacked lines to open the Menu button.
2. Tap Collars.
3. Tap on the collar whose replacement collar you want to activate.
4. Tap Unlink.
Note: Unlinking the collar does not affect your Fi Membership.
5. At the bottom of the screen, you'll see options to Switch/Upgrade, Deactivate Fi Collar, or Cancel. Tap Switch/Upgrade.
6. Follow the onscreen prompts to complete activation.
Please note: your Fi Base must be plugged in to activate your collar. For Series 3, the recess of the charging base must be on top to properly connect.

Activating an Upgraded Fi Collar
Follow these steps to activate your upgraded Series 3 Fi Collar and keep your current Dog Profile:
1. Open the Fi App.
2. In the bottom-right corner, tap the Dog Profile your previous Series 2 Collar was associated with. You do not need to create a new dog profile.
3. Tap the blue banner that says Your Series 3 is on the way! Once tapped, your Series 2 Fi Collar will automatically unlink, allowing you to activate your Series 3.
5. Tap Activate:
6. Follow the onscreen prompts to activate your Series 3 Fi Collar & Base.
Please note: your Fi Base must be plugged in to activate your collar. For Series 3, the recess of the charging base must be on top to properly connect.

Unlinking a Fi Collar
You must be an owner to unlink a collar.
Follow these steps to unlink your collar from your Dog Profile:
1. Open the Fi App. Tap your dog's profile picture in the lower right corner. Once you are in the profile, tap the 3 stacked lines to open the Menu button.
2. Tap Collars.
3. Tap on the collar you want to unlink.
4. Tap Unlink.
5. At the bottom of the screen, you'll see options to Switch/Upgrade, Deactivate Fi Collar, or Cancel. Tap Deactivate Fi Collar.
6. Confirm deactivation by tapping Yes.
7. Multi-dog household? You'll need to repeat these steps for each collar being unlinked.
8. If the dog profile you unlink is no longer needed, you can delete the profile following the steps outlined here.
