Understanding how far this coverage extends is key as anytime your dog's collar can connect to a Wi-Fi Network, it will report the location that has been inputted for that network. Testing is quick and easy, and after performing this test, you'll understand where your dog can go within your property and have their Fi Collar connect to your Wi-Fi network, providing accurate reports and saving battery life.

Steps for Testing Your Wi-Fi Coverage in Your Home
What you will need to test: Fi Base (unplugged), Fi Collar, Mobile Device with Fi App
Total time: 15 minutes
- Unplug your Fi Base as you want your collar to pick up on Wi-Fi, not base connection.
- Remove your dog's Fi Collar and leave it in a room they frequently visit.
- You will want to then walk away from the collar with your mobile device, as you want your collar to now pick up on Wi-Fi, not mobile connection.

After being away from the collar for 2-3 minutes, check the connection state of the collar and make sure it is connecting to your Wi-Fi Network by following the next steps:
- Open the Fi App. Tap the Live Tab:
- Tap your dog's profile picture in the Live Card:

You will now see the Live Map. Tap your pet's photo to reveal the collar's current connection state:

- To end the test, exit the full map screen by tapping the back button on the upper left:
- Open the Fi App. Tap the Live Tab:
