With Fi, you can track your dog anywhere they go. You'll only need to follow a few simple steps when your dog visits a day care or boarding facility to ensure your dog's collar can properly connect to the Fi Network.
Please note, we recommend only working with trusted professionals, understanding your dog’s day-to-day activity when they are away from you, and how you would be informed in case of an escape, or something going wrong.

Day Care / Boarding / Kennel Recommendations
-
Set up a Safe Zone: A Safe Zone ensures you receive notifications if your dog exits a location they should be within.
- Add an available Wi-Fi Network: This ensures your dog's location is accurately tracked when indoors
-
Add any temporary dog walkers who will be walking your dog to the account: This ensures best performance and preserves battery life.
- Bring your Fi Base for charging for extended stays: With proper setup, the Fi Collar can go months between charging, although without the proper connection source, the battery will drain much more quickly. If your dog's collar will not consistently have access to a Wi-Fi Network, and your dog will stay at a facility for an extended period, we recommend bringing their Fi Charging Base.

Can I Use GPS to Track My Dog at Daycare?
We do not recommend GPS/LTE for any indoor tracking, as GPS/LTE is not reliable indoors. See: Why Am I Receiving Infrequent or Inaccurate Reports?. Additionally, this mode will drain a lot of battery quickly and should only be used for remote tracking.
