If this is a foster's first time using a Fi Collar, they will need to download the Fi App and create an account. Send the instructions below to your foster to set up a Fi Account for the first time.
Steps to Set Up a Foster Account for the First Time

Download the Fi App on your smartphone.
- On your phone, tap here to Download Fi for Android (Samsung Galaxy, Google Pixel, LG, etc.), available for Android 8.0+ aka Android O or newer.
- On your phone, tap here to Download Fi for iOS (iPhone/Apple), available for iPhone - iOS 15 & higher (iPhone 6s & 6 + and higher, including iPhone SE 1st generation).
- Open the Fi App and simply tap Get Started to create an account.

Enter the email you would like to use and set a password.
- Remember the email you used to set up your account and let the rescue know what it is. The rescue will need this email to transfer the collar to your account
- The password must meet the minimum requirements of 8 characters.

- If you are prompted to create a pet profile, do not proceed with any further steps within the Fi App. Email the rescue you are working with, and let them know what email you used to sign up. They will transfer your dog to your account.
- If you see your foster dog's profile within your Fi Account, you are all set to continue to follow next steps.
