The Fi Base requires Wi-Fi to properly report your pet's location.
If you relocate your base or update its associated Wi-Fi network, you'll need to adjust the Wi-Fi settings in your App to establish connectivity.
How to Update Your Fi Base Wi-Fi
1. With the Fi App open, tap your avatar in the lower-right corner of your screen. Once you're in your profile, tap the 3 stacked lines to open the Menu:
2. Tap Your Pack
3. Scroll down to the Base section and tap the base you want to reset.
4. Tap Update network.
5. Tap Continue to choose your Wi-Fi network:
6. Once the app scans the Wi-Fi networks, a list of available networks will appear. Tap your network from Choose a Network:
Note: The Fi base only connects to 2.4GH Wi-Fi networks
7. Enter your network's Wi-Fi password and tap Connect:
8. If Wi-Fi connects properly, you will get a screen saying Your Fi Base is all set!
9. The app will ask you to set up a Safe Zone.
10. Ensure the safe zone shape correctly covers the area in the map you consider safe, even if this updates the address to appear incorrect. Once the area appears accurate, tap Save:
11. Name your safe zone with a label that describes the location, such as Home. Then, tap Next:
12. The app will say Base Configured. Tap Continue to exit the screen.
