Search Party is an in-app feature that allows Fi Series 3, Series 3+, and Mini owners to call for backup when their pet is lost.
You can easily share a live location link by entering Lost Mode, starting a Search Party, and sharing your pet's location via text or posting to a relevant group. This allows real-time collaboration by sharing tips and updates on your pet's whereabouts to bring them home safe as soon as possible.

How to Start and End a Search Party
1. Open the Fi App. Tap Live in the bottom left corner:
2. Tap the Live Map Card:
3. This will open a map showing your pet's latest known location. Tap Lost Mode:
4. Once Lost Mode is successfully activated, tap Start Search Party:
5. Tap Share Link:
Want to alert Fi members near your pet? Tap the Expand Search Party toggle and select Notify Fi members nearby to activate Search Party+. Nearby Fi members will receive a push notification with your pet's location. You can learn more about Search Party+ in the Share and join a Search Party article.
6. Share the Search Party link to friends using one of the shareable options provided by your phone or copy and paste the link:
7. Tap the X icon to navigate back to the Live Map:
8. You will be able to confirm that you've started a Search Party because of the Search Party Viewers section on the Live Map. This number will update as more people view the Search Party shareable link.
9. Want to share the Search Party link again? Tap the Search Party Viewers section:
10. To end a Search Party, Tap End Live Tracking. This will automatically stop sharing your pet's location.
11. Tap Yes to confirm you want to end Live Tracking:
12. Rate your experience:
You can then exit the full map screen by tapping on the arrow in the upper right corner.
