Directions to Dog Parks
When you are ready to visit a dog park near you, Fi can guide you there. Tap into the dog park you would like to visit, and then tap the blue address link at the top of the page.
Checking Into a Dog Park
Upon your first visit, you will receive a notification, Welcome to Dog Park Name, indicating you have been checked into the dog park.
This notification will appear after two consecutive location reports are sent to the Fi Server showing you are in the park, or you must be at the park for at least 5 minutes. The timing of when you receive the notification depends whether your Fi Collar is using GPS or your mobile connection to determine your location.
Your first visit & every visit after will show when you & your dog arrive at the dog park in your Timeline. Your dog's rank on the Park Leaderboard will increase the more you visit the park!
Once you check in to a dog park, a notification will appear in your Timeline feed:
Park Visitors
You can easily see other members of the Fi Pack who frequent a dog park near you. Their profile will show up under Park Visitors. If a dog is currently at the dog park, under their profile picture, it will say Here Now (in blue).
If you meet a new Fi friend, you can start following their Fi Profile by tapping Follow.
If you already follow a park visitor, it will show View Profile under the dog's profile picture instead of follow.
Park Leaderboard
Each dog park has its own Park Leaderboard showcasing the top 100 Fi Dogs based on how often they’ve visited. It’s a great way to see who’s pounding the pavement the most - and maybe inspire your dog to climb the ranks!
Leaderboard positions are based on the past 28 days of dog park check-ins and are updated in real time.
