Add a Fi dog park

Anyone can contribute a dog park to the Fi App! Please note that it takes 30 days for the new dog park to be added.

Steps to Add a Dog Park to the Fi App

If you are familiar with Open Street Map, we recommend this option, as submissions made directly within the map will be updated into the Fi App within 30 days of submission. 

1. Create an account on https://www.openstreetmap.org/user/new /
   • Please note: you must complete account verification and set up to contribute to the map. 
2. Once your account is verified, input the address of the dog park you want to add on the top left search bar.
   • If the address does not produce a result, you can zoom into the map to locate the area where you want to add a dog park. 
3. Once you have located the area you want to add a dog park, click edit on the top left. 
4. Select the Area tool and draw the shape of your dog park.
5. On the left select feature type, search for dog park, and click to pick "dog park" 
6. Next, name the dog park.
7. Click Save on the top right.
8. In Changeset Comment, provide a description of the change you made: Example: I added X dog park.
9. Click upload.
