For multi-pet households, you need one Fi tracker and one Fi Membership per pet to track each pet remotely.
However, a Fi Ultra can pair with another tracker on the same pet under a single Series 3+, Series 3, or Fi Mini membership. This means a paired Fi Ultra does not need its own membership.
One Tracker and Membership Per Pet
One Tracker and Membership Per Pet
Each Fi tracker has its own cellular connection, so we need to establish one line per pet. This enables you to monitor each pet's whereabouts.
A membership gives you access to the full capabilities of your pet's Fi tracker, allowing Fi remote access to your pet's location and activity. The membership cost covers the GPS and cellular connection to your pet's Fi tracker.
If you did not add a membership at checkout for a Series 2 Fi tracker, you can add one after purchase by following the instructions here.
Adding a Fi Ultra
The Fi Ultra can be used on its own or paired with a Fi Mini, Series 3+, or Series 3 on the same dog. It cannot be paired with a Series 1 or Series 2 tracker. How your membership works depends on which setup you choose:
- Used on its own, a standalone Fi Ultra follows the One Tracker and Membership Per Pet rule above, with one tracker and one membership for that pet.
- Paired with a compatible tracker on the same pet, the Fi Ultra is covered by that pet's existing membership. It works as an accessory tracker, so a second membership is not needed.
You only need an additional membership when you add a tracker for another pet.
