New Member Activation Flow
If you are brand new to Fi and don't have a profile, we recommend starting here.
Setting Up Your Profile
Before starting, ensure that you have your Fi App open. Additionally, please keep your Ultra tracker, charging cable, and adaptor nearby.
Once you are ready, tap Continue in the app
Next, you'll be prompted to enter your email address, create a password, and enter your name and phone number. Your phone number will be used for account verification purposes and future alert notifications.
After inputting your phone number, you'll receive a text message to verify your number. Type in the verification code and tap Next
From here, enter your pet's name and tap Continue
Select your pet's breed - you can choose from pure or mixed. If you aren't sure, you can make your best guess.
After selecting a breed, enter their birth date and tap Continue
Select their sex and weight, then tap Continue
Now you can choose your pet's username and photo. If the username is already taken, you will receive an error message. After selecting a username and photo, tap Continue
Next, you'll be prompted to input a step goal based on their breed. To choose a target step count, tap Continue
Then you can choose the default step count or change it by tapping the plus or minus signs. Once complete, tap Continue
At this point in the process, you'll receive verification that your profile is successfully created. Now you can start the steps to activate your Ultra. To continue, tap Next
Activating Your Ultra
To continue with activation, press Next
Then, confirm that you are setting up a Fi Ultra and tap Start
Next, plug in your Ultra to continue with the process and press Continue
You will be prompted to enable Bluetooth by pressing Allow. Once Bluetooth is activated, tap Continue
Once your Ultra is found, you'll be prompted to Connect to Wi-Fi
Your Fi App will search for Wi-Fi networks. Once yours is located, tap on your Wi-Fi network name and enter your Wi-Fi password.
After inputting your Wi-Fi information, you'll be prompted to enable location services. This is required for the Fi App to work properly. Tap Allow While Using App and then tap Save
Now, you'll receive a confirmation that your Ultra is set up. From here, you'll learn how to attach the Ultra to a collar/harness/vest by tapping Continue
Existing Member / Pet Profile Activation Flow
If you already have a Fi tracker on your pet, such as a Series 3, Series 3+, or Mini, you can activate your Ultra in the Fi App.
First, tap your pet's profile picture in the lower right corner. Once you are in the profile, tap the 3 stacked lines to open the Menu button.
On the Menu page, select Activate device
Then, confirm that you are setting up a Fi Ultra. Then, tap Start
Next, plug in your Ultra to continue with the process and press Continue
You will be prompted to enable Bluetooth by pressing Allow. Once Bluetooth is activated, tap Continue
Once your Ultra is found, you'll be prompted to Connect to Wi-Fi
Your Fi App will search for Wi-Fi networks. Once yours is located, tap on your Wi-Fi network name and enter your Wi-Fi password.
After inputting your Wi-Fi information, you'll be prompted to enable location services. This is required for the Fi App to work properly. Tap Allow While Using App and then tap Save
Now, you'll receive a confirmation that your Ultra is set up. From here, you'll learn how to attach the Ultra and more by tapping Continue
Attaching Your Ultra
At this part of the process, you'll be provided with a video containing instructions on how to attach your Fi Ultra to a collar/band or harness. We recommend having the Fi logo facing forward for the best tracking experience.
