Reset a Fi Base

There are circumstances where you will need to reset your Fi Base during troubleshooting. Follow the steps below to go through the reset process.

How to Reset Your Fi Base

Follow the steps below to reset your Fi Base.

1. Unplug your Fi Base.
2. On the back of the Base, next to the micro-USB port, there is a small circle. This is the reset button.
3. With the Fi Base unplugged, hold down the reset button.
4. Continue to hold down the reset button while plugging the Fi Base back into a working outlet.
5. After plugging your Fi Base in, hold the button for five more seconds.
6. The Fi Base Light will flash amber, indicating the base has been reset.
7. If needed, update the Wi-Fi Network on your base after the reset.
