How To Register A Fi Nano Microchip
All Fi Nano microchips are dual registered with contact information for both the pet owner and Fi Professional Partner.
While a partner's information is automatically assigned to all chips that are ordered through us, the owner's information is added after the chip is registered to the owner.
Partners are able to register a chip to an owner, or the owner can register the chip themselves.
Before registering a Fi Nano Microchip to a pet owner, you'll be prompted to add pet information. You can also add pet information to a chip without registering it to an owner through this flow.
- Click Manage Chips to view your stock.
- Use the search bar to search for the chip you want to add pet information to or register to an owner.
- Click on the chip number.
-
Once you are on the following screen, click Continue.
-
Add the pet's information. Once complete, click Continue.
-
Fill out the new pet owner's contact information and click Continue.
-
If you only want to add pet information and do not want to register the chip to a new owner, click go back. The pet information you added will be saved, and the chip will still be visible in your stock view.
-
Once you have finished registering the chip for the owner, the chip is automatically approved, and an email is sent to the new pet owner alerting them that a microchip has been registered for them.
How To Register A Non-Fi Nano Microchip

-
If a non-Fi Nano microchip is not in your Stock, there will be a button that says Register Non-Fi Chip.
-
After clicking Register Non-Fi Chip, you'll receive a pop-up asking if you'd like to register the third-party microchip.
- Click Register to associate this chip with your Fi Nano account.
- You'll then be taken back to the Manage Chips - Stock view, and the chip you added will be in your stock.
Once this chip has been added to your stock, you can add pet information or register it for a pet owner.
