When your pet leaves a Safe Zone, their Fi Device connects to your mobile device. If the Bluetooth connection between the Fi Device and the Fi App is lost, you’ll receive a notification that your pet is “without an owner”. This is to alert you when your pet is outside of a Safe Zone.
If you receive this alert, we recommend turning on Lost Mode when your pet is off-leash and out of your line of sight.
