It typically takes a Fi Device about 3 hours to charge from 0% to 100%. We'll send a reminder when your device's battery is at 10% and 5% to recharge, so you can always plan ahead.
Fi Series 3+
With the Series 3+, you'll need a Fi Base to charge your device. Please note that a Fi Base is the only way to charge a Series 3+ device.
You can plug the Fi Base into an electrical source using any standard USB Type-A to micro USB cable to begin charging.
Place your Fi Device on your plugged-in base. The base's indicator light will turn blue, confirming your device is docked.
The device light will also turn on and pulse a blue light to indicate it's charging.
When fully charged, the blue light will stop pulsing on your device, letting you know it's ready for your pet's next adventure!
Please note, the device must sit in the recess on the top of your Fi Base for the device to charge or activate.
The Fi logo is located at the bottom of the base. Placing the device on this side will prevent it from docking correctly.
Fi Mini
If you have a Fi Mini, your device can only be charged via a USB-C cable and cannot be charged on a Fi Base. You'll receive a USB-C cable, where you can use an adapter to plug into a wall or even charge using your computer.
