Android users will notice an occasional notification saying, Fi is active and monitoring and Fi is active and monitoring PET'S NAME. This notification is not sent from the Fi App.
This notification is sent from your Android phone and alerts you to a Bluetooth connection that has remained on your phone for an extended period. Here is what the notification looks like:
If you have an Android with an OS of 13 and above, you can swipe to dismiss this notification. If you do not have the option to swipe or would like to turn this notification off, follow the steps below.
How To Turn Off Fi Connectivity Notifications
You can turn off or customize your connectivity notifications by following the steps below.
- From the Live Tab, tap your pet's avatar in the bottom-right corner of your app. Then, tap the Menu icon (three lines) in the top-right corner
2. Then, tap Account in your Pack Settings menu
3. Scroll to the Notifications heading and tap Connectivity
4. Tap the slide next to Show notifications to turn off these notifications. You can also change your connectivity notification settings from this page
