If you see that your Fi Device is offline in the Fi App, it means it’s not currently connected to the Fi Server. This can result in an interruption of live updates.
If you have a Series 2 or 3 Fi Base that is connected and your Fi Device is offline, we recommend resetting your device.
To reset your Fi device, please follow the applicable instructions based on your Fi product.
Series 3+ & Series 3
- Ensure that your Fi Charging Base is plugged in.
- Place your Fi Device on the base. Your Base Light should turn blue.
- On the back of your base, locate the Charging Base Button (next to the Micro-USB port). Hold the button for 5 seconds.
- The Fi Base Light will turn red. Once your collar light flashes green, the device is reset.
Fi Mini
- Remove the Fi Mini device from the Strap or Soft Case on your pet's collar/harness.
- Ensure that your USB-C cord and adaptor are plugged in. Then, plug in the USB-C charger to your Fi Mini device.
- Next to where you plug your Fi Mini into the device is a small button. Press and hold the button for 5 seconds. You'll see the light indicator turn blue and blink 3 times when the device reset starts.
- Once the device reset is complete, you'll see the light indicator turn green and flash 3 times.
Series 2 & Series 1
- Ensure that your Fi Charging Base is plugged in.
- Place your Fi Device on the base. Your collar should emit a blue light.
-
Locate the Reset Button on the bottom of your base.
- Since the Reset Button is small, you may need something small, such as a pen, to press the button.
- Hold the Reset button in for 5 seconds until your collar stops flashing red. Once the light stops flashing, remove your collar from the base.
- Wait 30 seconds and place the collar back on the base. Once back on the base, your reset is complete.
