Series 3+ or Series 3
To power off your Fi Series 3 or 3+ tracker:
The Series 3 or Series 3+ Fi tracker cannot be powered off manually. It will shut down when its battery is fully drained and reaches 0%.
To reset your Fi Series 3 or 3+ tracker:
- Make sure your Fi Charging Base is plugged in.
- Place your Fi tracker on the base. You should see your Fi Base Light turn blue, indicating your tracker is properly docked.

On the back of the base, next to the Micro-USB port, there is a small circle. This is the reset button. Hold the reset button for 5 seconds.
- The Fi Base Light will turn red, and the light on your tracker will flash green, indicating it has reset.
Fi Mini
To power off your Fi Mini:
First, please remove the Fi Mini tracker from the Strap or Soft Case on your pet's collar or harness.
Then, to turn off your Fi Mini, press and hold the power button down for 4 to 5 seconds. The power button is located next to the USB-C port. While you hold the button, the light will be blue. Once the light turns off, your Fi Mini has powered off.
To reset your Fi Mini:
- Remove the Fi Mini tracker from the Strap or Soft Case on your pet's collar or harness.

Press and hold the power button for 4 to 5 seconds to turn off. The power button is located next to the USB-C port. The light will be blue while you hold the button, and will turn off once your Fi Mini has powered off.
- Wait 30 seconds, then press the power button to turn your Fi Mini back on.
Fi Ultra
To power off your Fi Ultra:
Start by disconnecting your tracker from USB power. A tracker that stays connected to power will restart on its own, so it cannot stay powered off while charging.
With USB power disconnected, press and hold the button for 3 to 4 seconds, then release. The light shows blue, then turns red briefly, and your tracker powers off.
If it does not respond, press and hold the button for 8 seconds, then release. Use this longer press only if the shorter one does not work.
If you press the button while your Fi Ultra is connected to USB power, it restarts instead of powering off. You will see the light turn red briefly, flash green as it reboots, then pulse blue to show it is charging.
To power on your Fi Ultra:
When your Fi Ultra is powered off, you can turn it back on in one of two ways:
- Press and hold the button for 3 to 4 seconds.
- Connect it to USB power, and it will power on automatically.
Either way, you will see a pulsing green light while it starts up. If it is plugged in, the light changes to pulsing blue once charging begins.
To reset your Fi Ultra:
If your Fi Ultra is plugged in:
- Press and hold the button for 3 to 4 seconds, then release. Your tracker restarts on its own, and a quick green flash confirms it is on.
If your Fi Ultra is unplugged:
- Press and hold the button for 3 to 4 seconds, then release. The light turns blue, then briefly red before powering off.
- Wait 30 seconds.
- Press and hold the button for 3 to 4 seconds to power it back on. A quick green flash confirms it is on.
Series 2
To power off your Fi Series 2 tracker:
- Make sure your Fi Charging Base is plugged in.
- Place your Fi tracker on the base. You should see it start to pulse blue (or stay solid blue if fully charged).
- Look on the bottom of the base for a button labeled RESET. You may need to find a pen or something similar in size to easily press the button.
- Hold the RESET button in for 5 seconds, until you see the light flash red on your tracker, followed by the light turning off.
- At this point, you can remove the tracker from the base. The tracker is powered off.
If you need to turn your tracker back on, simply put it back on a powered charging base, and it will power on automatically.
To reset your Fi Series 2 tracker:
- After powering off the tracker, wait 30 seconds and turn the tracker back on.
- Once you place your tracker back on the base, the reset is complete.
