The Fi Tracker and collar are designed to be easily cleaned when needed. There are recommended instructions for cleaning the Fi Collar Band and the Fi Tracker.
Cleaning your Fi Collar Band
Fi collar bands are made from ultra-durable, woven Tetoron polyester, making them effortless to clean.
- Remove your Fi Tracker from the collar band.

You can clean the band by either:
- Washing the band in the sink with warm water and detergent.
- Alternatively, you can place the band in a mesh bag and clean it in the washing machine on a warm/gentle cycle.
- Air dry the Fi Band. Once fully dry, you can reassemble your Fi Collar.
Cleaning Your Fi Tracker
While the Fi Tracker is waterproof rated IP68, you should not place the tracker in a washing machine. Here is how we recommend cleaning your Fi Tracker:
- If your tracker has minor scuffs or marks, we recommend using a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. Do not use alcohol to clean your tracker, as it can cause damage.
- Additionally, if you need to remove excess dirt, the tracker can be rinsed with water over a sink.
Please note that if your tracker is exposed to saltwater, we recommend rinsing it with fresh water.
