If you have a Series 2, 3, or 3+, you'll need a Fi Base to charge your tracker. Please note that a Fi Base is the only way to charge a Series 2, 3, or 3+ tracker.
Compatibility and Charging Requirements
Please note that the Fi Series 2 trackers cannot charge on a Series 3 Base. However, the Series 3 Base is compatible and used with both Series 3 and 3+ trackers.
You can plug the Fi Base into an electrical source using any standard USB Type-A to micro USB cable to begin charging.
If you have a Fi Mini or Fi Ultra, your tracker can only be charged via a USB-C cord and cannot be charged on a Fi Base. For the Fi Mini and Fi Ultra, you'll receive a USB-C cable, where you can use an adaptor to plug into a wall or even charge using your computer.
How to Charge Your Fi Tracker
It typically takes a tracker around 3 hours to charge from 0% to 100%. We'll send a reminder when your tracker's battery is at 10% and 5% to recharge, so you can always plan ahead.
If you have a Series tracker, select the tab below that corresponds to your Fi Base.
Place your tracker on your plugged-in base. The base's indicator light will turn blue, confirming your tracker is docked.
Your tracker light will also turn on and pulse a blue light to indicate it's charging.
When fully charged, the blue light will stop pulsing on your tracker - letting you know it's ready for your pet's next adventure!
Please note that your tracker must sit in the recess on the top of your Fi Base for the tracker to charge or activate.
The Fi logo is located on the bottom of the base. Placing the tracker on this side will prevent it from docking correctly.
When you place your tracker on the charging base, the tracker's indicator light will turn on to confirm it's connected. A pulsing blue light signals that the tracker is actively charging.
Once your tracker is fully charged, the tracker light will show a solid blue, and you're ready to go!
