How Can I See What My Dog’s Fi Collar Is Connected To?

The Fi Collar will report its location depending upon the different connection sources. To check how the Fi Collar is obtaining its location reports, you can check the connection source.

Steps to Check What My Dog’s Fi Collar Is Connected To

1. Open the Fi App.
2. Tap the Live Tab in the bottom left-hand corner:
   
3. Tap the Live Map Card:  
   
4. Tap on your dog's picture shown on the Live Map:
   
   
5. This will display a status card with the following information about your dog's collar:
   1. The connection source that the collar is connected to or was last connected to: either Fi Charging Base, Wi-Fi, Phone or GPS/LTE; see: What Is the Best Connection Source for My Dog’s Fi Collar?
   2. If the collar is online (Live) or offline (you will see a spinning wheel ):
      
      
   3. Whether your dog is with an owner or without an owner.
6. Tap on the arrow in the upper right-hand corner to return to the Live Tab page:
