About Fi Intelligence Recommendations
What You Can Ask Fi Intelligence
Fi Intelligence can answer questions about your dog using real-time data from their Fi device, including daily steps, sleep hours, walk details, and behaviors like barking, scratching, and licking. It can also reference any vet documents you've uploaded and provide general pet advice on topics like training, enrichment, and feeding.
If you have multiple dogs on your Fi account, you will need to switch pet profiles before asking about a different dog. Fi Intelligence currently handles one pet per conversation.
Fi Intelligence is designed specifically for pet health and wellness questions. For help with GPS, battery, charging, collar band fit, app issues, or account and billing questions, contact our Support Team for device and account help via live chat here.
Uploading Documents
You can upload health documents such as vet records, lab results, vaccine certificates, and prescriptions to give Fi Intelligence more context about your dog's health. Once uploaded, Fi Intelligence can reference these documents to answer questions such as:
- "When is my dog's rabies vaccine due?"
- "What medications is my dog on?"
- "What did the vet say about my dog's symptoms?"
- "What were the latest lab results?"
For details on supported file types and how to upload documents, refer to the Health Documents article for more information.
Getting the Most Accurate Insights
Fi Intelligence relies on data from your device, so the quality of insights depends on consistent wear and data availability. Here are a few things to keep in mind:
- Incomplete or partial data: If the device was recently placed on your dog or has not been worn consistently, Fi Intelligence may be working with limited information. Partial-day data can make activity appear lower than normal, and gaps in wear history may affect trend accuracy. For the best results, ensure your dog wears their device regularly and throughout the day.
- Connectivity gaps: If the device has been out of Bluetooth or Wi-Fi range for an extended period, some data may not have synced yet. Opening the Fi app near your dog's device can help ensure the latest data is available before asking Fi Intelligence a question.
