Depending on your tracker, it can use Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, cellular, and satellite connection sources to determine and report your pet's location.
To understand how your pet's location is being tracked in real time, you can view your tracker's current connection source within your app.
Where to Check the Connection Source
Follow these steps in the Fi App to view your tracker's current or last known connection source.

With the Fi App open, tap your pet's name in the top-left corner.

When viewing your pets, you will see the following connection information:
- Connection source: the current or last known source your tracker was connected to, including Fi Base, Wi-Fi, Phone, GPS/Cellular, or Satellite (if using a Fi Ultra).
- Online or offline status

Tap the X on the select pet page to return to the Live Tab.
